Weddings + Baltimore

The shop has been a busy place lately, but I'm enjoying coming up for air and remembering to post from some beautiful spring and summer weddings.  It's so fun to relive some of our favorites weddings.  Here are two very different weddings in colors and venues.
The photographer, Amy Vanicky took this close-up of the bride's bouquet and I just can't get enough of it.  Soft shades of lavender and pink with some texture from berries and veronica were the colors for this May wedding at Antrim 1844 Inn in Taneytown, MD.
The teardrops constructed for the doors paired nicely with the boxwood wreaths and carried out the wedding theme.
Tables for the reception alternated in highs and lows for centerpieces which always makes the room look wonderful.  Antique lavender pintuck is always a winner for linens when using soft hues.  Here they're shown with lavender napkins.
Antrim 1877 has wonderful gardens and here the bride and groom stand in the midst of peonies ready to pop! Elena and Shane were great to work with and knew just the look they wanted for their day.
The bride's maids dresses were a luscious Ocean Blue backdrop for white Anemones, Amnesia roses and scabiosa pods.

Then June brought a vibrant, colorful couple who married at Tabrizi's on the waterfront in Baltimore.  Love these Rock Star roses mixed with David Austin's, sprays and green hypericum berries.

This groom was cool, calm and collected as he enjoyed the views of the waterfront while waiting for his beautiful bride.  What a stunning day to get married with the harbor as a background.
Kyle Bergner Photography always makes our flowers look spectacular!  Here are the bride's and bride's maids bouquets waiting for their moment to shine.
Escort card display was a special request of the groom.  When we met and he saw photos he said, "I don't care what else we do, but we HAVE to have this!" The river rocks add texture and contrast to the bright roses and callas.
Here's the front view showing the cards awaiting their guests.
Harborview Room upstairs at Tabrizi's is a great reception room with lots of light.  Here our cylinders were pools of water with flowers of the day at varying heights topped by candles.

Yes, I do have the best job in the world; working with brides to make their wedding day uniquely theirs.  Stay tuned there are more wedding photos to come! In the meantime we'll be in the shop planning for the holidays.
